INTRODUCTION
The mentorship committee at the IMA Dubai Chapter is committed to design and deliver a mentoring experience to the IMA members. This will engage mentees who are eager to gain from the experience and insight of mentors and find it valuable for their professional development. Mentors will have the opportunity to develop their leadership and interpersonal skills and reflect on their own practice.
PROGRAM FRAMEWORK HIGHLIGHTS
- The IMA Dubai Chapter Mentorship program would be open from December to April each year (5 months). The aim is to keep it flexible for the mentors and mentees to connect within this timeframe.
- Mentor profiles would be finalized very September and put online on the IMA Dubai Chapter Mentoring page
- Mentee Applications would be collected before November.
- Mentor & Mentee finalizations would be by mid-November.
- Trainings and guidance sessions would be conducted online in the month of November.
- Mentor Mentee sessions would go on during the months of December to April every year.
- Mentees would need to fill in online log for the organizers to know that sessions are going on well.
- Any issues arising during the course would be handled on case to case basis.
- Feedback would be collected from both mentors and mentees, at the end of their session, through online forms.
- Felicitations for mentors and opportunity for mentees to present their experiences would be provided to participants at the physical event coming up between May and June every year.
