This course looks at how mentorships can be structured, how mentoring is different from other professional relationships such as coaching, the role it can play over a person’s career and lifetime, and techniques for mentoring. IMA actively looks to mentor the next generation of leaders for the organization, something that is very unusual for a membership organization. So, the course also looks at IMA resources for mentoring to be sure these are available to all of its members. Come and explore what mentoring has to offer, how to create a mentorship, techniques to use in mentoring, and mentoring resources available to you as an IMA member.
